Conference

The evening programme described above is a mass awareness event. However, to impact various sections of the society even more powerfully, a peace conference is also being organized from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. on 10.10.10 at Pune. The agenda for the conference shall be in the lines of the evening event, but focuses on 1000 leaders who shall be invited to participate.

The focus of the conference shall be to create a platform for all significant contributors to peace from any walk of life. The 1000 leaders who shall participate by invitation could be spiritual leaders,  scientists, social leaders, representative from peace bodies like the UNO, celebrities who are peace ambassadors, authors,  scientific media like National Geographic, Discovery channels, the news media, Industrialists, representatives of Armed Forces, etc.

Some of the speakers mentioned above shall spend quality time with these leaders through more meaningful dialogues, debates and panel discussion. The purpose of such a conference is to enable leaders to go back to their organization and communities and create an impact. Various NGOs shall also showcase their work with respect to world peace in this conference through their stalls.  While the evening event shall be primarily in the Hindi Language, the morning conference shall be conducted in the English language and portions shall be telecasted in channels such as CNBC or Bloomberg – UTV, etc.  The key focus of the conference shall be ten solutions for world peace that this movement is championing. These ten solutions is mentioned at the end of this document.
